Dear Parents/Carers

Up and coming dates for your attention:

Monday 4th September and Tuesday 5th September will be PD days for Allscott Meads Primary School staff, therefore we open the doors and welcome the children to their first day at our brand new Primary School on Wednesday 6th September.

Thursday 17th August – There will be three tours of the Primary School Site for parents/carers and children who have been allocated places for September 2023. Tour 1 – 9am, Tour 2 – 10am, Tour 3 – 11am. The tours will be led by the Head Teacher and additional staff. This will provide a valuable opportunity for people to view the school, its excellent facilities and ask questions. There will be no booking system as it will be fairly informal. Children in KS1 and KS2 (Year 1-6) will have an opportunity to say hello to their teacher.

Tuesday 22nd August – From 10am – 12pm, we are inviting parents/ carers and children who have been allocated a place for September 2023 into school for a fun, taster session to join in with some fun activities alongside other children coming to the school. This will provide a further opportunity for parents/carers to chat with staff and meet with teachers. Parents/carers are required to accompany their child/ren for the duration of the taster session. There will be an opportunity for children to view their classroom. Children in EYFS and KS1 (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) will have the opportunity to say hello to their teacher. As some of the activities will be outside or may involve messy play we would encourage children to come wearing play clothes.

We very much look forward to seeing you and welcome you and your children into Allscott Meads Primary School and Nursery. Once the school is fully open prospective parents are more than welcome to arrange a viewing.  We appreciate people may already have holidays booked and will be unable to attend one or both sessions, please be assured if this is the case there will be opportunity to view the school in their first week.

Any problems please let us know.
